Robert works with Guild Mortgage Company, the only CalHFA approved lender that offers the HomeChoice home loan product to people with disabilities. Robert started his career in the investment banking industry, where he excelled as a personal producer and was named a member to the John Nuveen Advisory Council for excellence in municipal bond financing. Robert is a former United States Marine, has extensive experience working with state and local government agencies, and has received a commendation from former California Governor Pete Wilson for his work with nonprofit organizations providing jobs for disadvantaged youth. He holds a California Special Education Teaching Credential from San Diego State University and has taught students with severe emotional disabilities, mental retardation, autism and learning disabilities. His son has various disabilities.

Nathan is responsible for all aspects of locating and developing affordable housing. Nathan meets with local housing authorities, development agencies, potential lenders, potential development partners, and staff and elected governmental officials to discuss the need and funding for affordable housing and SCHC's role in providing such housing. Prior to joining SCHC, Nathan worked as an independent life and health insurance broker for fourteen years in San Diego. He has been actively involved with insurance associations such as the San Diego Association of Health Underwriters and the California Association of Health Underwriters. Nathan has also been a member of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of San Diego and has supported the BIA's related nonprofit organization, BIA Cares, which is a volunteer based organization supporting projects and services that assist needy San Diegans. Nathan has a child with Cerebral Palsy and, as Executive Director, he is able to further his passion of helping those with developmental disabilities.

Jim has been active in the multi-housing industry for more than 18 years, currently serving as a Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis in its San Diego Multi-Housing Team (which specializes in helping owners add value to land holdings by navigating the land entitlement process on their behalf). Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis in 2002, Jim spent 5 years as the Chief Financial Officer for Southwest Affordable Housing where he was responsible for the acquisition, financing and operations of both conventional and low-income multi-housing properties in San Diego and San Bernardino Counties. Jim also served as Chief Financial Officer for 21st Century Oil, Inc. where he was responsible for planning and negotiating the acquisition and financing of gas stations and convenience stores throughout Southern California. Jim holds a M.B.A. from University of Southern California, and is a member of the Building Industry Association and the San Diego Housing Federation. Jim has valuable and extensive contacts with local government staff and officials, as well as engineers, architects and consultants, to help ensure that SCHC's projects will be given efficient and thoughtful consideration.

Michael has been working as a senior Public Policy Advisor for San Diego BIA since 2011. He takes on the challenge of representing the interests of the almost 700 member companies and their 40,000 employees on a wide range of public policy issues which affect their businesses. Michael has run for elected office 3 times, twice for a seat on the San Diego School Board (1998, 2006) and once for the California Legislature (1996). Although he was not successful in getting elected, Michael stayed involved. Michael is a founding member of the Del Cerro Action Council, has served for almost 20 years on the Navajo Community Planners Inc., and serves on the Grantville Stakeholders Committee. Additionally, he has used his hobby of live music sound production to run the technical end of the Phoebe Hearst Elementary School’s Talent Show. After serving on the Board of Directors of Developmental Services Continuum (DSC), a local service provider who operated group homes for people with developmental disabilities, Michael was appointed by Governor Wilson on the Area Board 13, which is responsible for reviewing the local Regional Center. Michael and his wife, Judy, reside in the San Diego neighborhood of Del Cerro with their 2 children, Jack and Grace, and dog Woody.

George has been an attorney for more than 26 years, the last 21 of which have been for the County of San Diego, Office of County Counsel. His main area of practice is civil litigation/personal injury defense on behalf of the County. Prior to joining the County, George worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Iowa, was a JAG officer for the U.S. Navy and worked in private practice. He holds a B.A. in Journalism (News Editorial), a Masters in Communications and a law degree (with honors), all from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. He is a native of Southern California, is married and has four children, the oldest of whom is developmentally disabled.

As a person with Cerebral Palsy, Linda knows firsthand about the challenges facing persons with developmental disabilities, especially in finding affordable housing. Linda receives services from the San Diego Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities and serves on its Executive Housing Board as a client representative. She has been an advocate for the rights of the disabled since the 1970s and has served as a feature editor for Mainstream Magazine, a magazine advocating Disability Rights. Linda has served on the Mayor of San Diego's Citizen Advisory Board, and is the current treasurer of San Diego Democrats for Disability Rights and the Vice President of the San Diego chapter of Californians for Disability Rights. She has served on the board of directors of the Linda Vista Village Mobile Park Homeowners Association. Linda holds a B.A. in English from San Diego State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Robert is currently serving as the President/Executive Director of Pacific Southwest Community Development Corporation (PSCDC), based in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. PSCDC is a nonprofit engaged in providing affordable housing in partnership with others and on its own throughout California. Robert’s experience ranges from land acquisition, forward planning, entitlements, and environmental issues, through development, design, and production of housing. During his career Robert has developed numerous residential projects, many of which included affordable housing properties. Robert is active in the San Diego Housing Federation and the San Diego BIA. He contributes his development expertise to promote new alliances and developments for Southern California Housing Collaborative in order to increase housing availability to its clients. Robert received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer from the University of London and his Master of Business Administration from the City University in London. Robert is married with two grown up daughters. Robert is a fluent Spanish speaker.
